Queens Native Nigel Sylvester to Drop New Era x Mets Collection
Queens get the money.
Having just returned home to Queens after filming the fourth installment of GO! in Dubai, Nigel Sylvester unveils a collaboration with his hometown team, the New York Mets. Working alongside New Era, the Nike-sponsored BMXer reworked two 9FIFTY Original Fit snapbacks in both royal and black, each with contrasting white logos throughout.
While both hats will release this Saturday, May 20 at a number of locations (Mets team store, New Era’s NYC flagship, neweracap.com and mlbshop.com), Nigel is encouraging Mets fans to ride their bike to Citi Field for Sunday’s game and watch him throw out the first pitch. To be honest, we’d rather see him try to tail-whip one out of the infield.
