Having established themselves as a launching pad for some of the greatest music acts in the game today, Fool’s Gold has further evolved over the years as a brand synonymous with tastefully curated music, fashion and art. This year marks the brand’s 10-year anniversary and to commemorate the huge milestone, A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs are opening a retail spot right in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The shop is an architectural concept based on a suite of enfilades, brought to life by avant-garde design firm Family New York – the same folks responsible for OFF-WHITE retail locations around the world and Kanye’s infamous Yeezus stage. The shop’s unique structure is also adorned with a series of eclectic, bespoke fixtures by Brooklyn-based experimental design studio The Principals. You can have a first look at the store above, but doors will officially open this Saturday, May 20 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and offer pieces from Fool’s Gold’s 2017 summer clothing collection, entitled “New York’s Loudest.” Along with all the necessary tees, hoodies and hats, the spot also introduces new cut & sew pieces like a full tracksuit, coach’s jacket and shoulder-strap bags.
