Wood Wood & ASICS Tiger Team up on a Second Sneaker Collaboration

The Danish brand’s 15th birthday celebrations continue.

After collaborating on the metallic GEL-DS Trainer OG earlier this month, Wood Wood and ASICS Tiger have reunited on a second drop for the Danish brand’s 15th birthday. Taking on the same silhouette as the earlier collaboration, this drop sees a more subtle adaptation of the GEL-DS Trainer OG with a mesh toe box, grey suede ASICS Tiger stripes and tan leather heel panels. As well as features influenced by 1960s electronics designed by Dieter Rams, the sneaker also has functional elements including the ASICS GEL technology and a Duo-Sole outsole for flexibility, durability and traction. The second GEL-DS Trainer OG collaboration from the two brands will be available for pre-release at Wood Wood stores in Berlin, Copenhagen, Aarhus and Frederiksberg on May 24 before getting a wider launch from selected stockists on May 27.

As part of its 15th birthday celebration, Wood Wood has also recently launched a new capsule collection of reissues from the brand’s archives.
