Seiko is back with a trio of preppy-coded King Seiko time-tellers, each boasting a  distinct color dial: “Preppy Blue,” “Preppy Green” and “Preppy Burgundy.”  The choice of colorways is inspired by the Ivy-League-collegiate aesthetic, which was all the craze in Tokyo during the ‘60s.

Part of the King Seiko KSK 6R collection, the latest additions all feature a slim case diameter of 36.1mm. Housed in stainless steel, the pieces feature concealed casebacks sporting the Kind Seiko branding. Capable of withstanding up to 10 ATM of water resistance, the watch face is fitted with a box-shaped sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.

Powered by an automatic with manual-winding 6R51 movement, the watch is also geared with a stop-seconds hand function on top of the quintessential hour and minute indication.

Completing the timepieces is a matching multi-link bracelet, which comes with quick-release interchangeability, allowing the wearer to swap between different straps to cater to different moods, occasions and outfits.

The three new King Seiko watches each retail for £1,720 GBP/ $1,900 USD, all available through the Seiko Boutique website.
