The introduction of the new Caliber 9RB1 movement marks a significant evolution, bringing ultra-precise mainspring-powered technology into a format designed for everyday versatility and enduring strength. Hand-assembled by highly skilled craftsmen and women at the Shinshu Watch Studio, the Caliber 9RB1 achieves its remarkable ±20 seconds per year accuracy through a meticulously vacuum-sealed crystal oscillator and an advanced low-power IC that minimizes the impact of external factors such as temperature, humidity, static electricity and light.
This technical mastery is paired with a deeply poetic, nature-inspired aesthetic through the “Ushio” design theme, which translates to “tide” in Japanese.
