In three separate parts.

Following up on the last update that production has begun for Dr Stone: Science Future, the production team recently announced the anime’s final season is set to release in 2025.

The previous season, Dr. Stone: New World, finished airing in December 2023. The last episode set the final arcs in motion as Senku and his crew began the first steps to their space program. Given the length and key events as explored in Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki’s Dr. Stone manga, fans have been concerned whether another two-part season will suffice to end the series.

But with the latest announcement, it’s confirmed that Dr. Stone: Science Future will comprise three cours instead. Based on the pattern of past seasons, each cour will likely be split across different seasons, with each part comprising around 12 episodes.

At the moment of writing, no concrete premiere date for Dr. Stone: Science Future has been confirmed other than it to release sometime in 2025.
