‘Dr. Stone: Science Future’ Will Air in January
The first installment of the anime’s final season.
Following the announcement back in August, TOHO Animation has finally confirmed the official release date for Dr.Stone’s fourth and final season. Titled Dr.Stone: Science Future, the new season follows Senku and his Science Kingdom squad as they embark on their mission to America to gather the material needed for their space program.
The new promotional trailer teases new challenged and unformidable forces who possess even more advanced technology such as aircraft, polygraphs and firearms — foreshadowing another touch fight for Senku and his crew.
Also previewed in the video is ALI’s upbeat and jazzy “CASANOVA POSSE” track, which will serve as the anime’s new opening theme song. While the new ending theme wasn’t featured in the trailer, an official announcement on the anime’s website confirms the ending song to be “Rolling Stone” by Japanese funk band, BREIMEN.
The first installment of Dr.Stone: Science Future will premiere on January 9, 2025 in Japan. At the time of writing, no official release date has been confirmed.
