thisisneverthat is continuing into 2025 full steam ahead. On the heels of the Korean imprint’s first capsule of the year – crafted in collaboration with Gramicci – the label is already looking to the next one. For the first time ever, thisisneverthat is teaming with Dr. Martens to reenvision a couple of the footwear titan’s storied silhouettes.
The duo has established a solid dual-minded design ethos that melds DM’s workwear roots with thisisneverthat’s minimalistic, vintage-informed approach; with this sentiment in mind, the pair has presented ruggedly reimagined takes of two Dr. Martens models: the 1460 boot and the 1461 shoe.

First off, the 1460 boot is crafted from antique brass hardware, with its Waxed Full Grain leather upper evoking a subtly oily texture. A pull tab rounds out the back of the silhouette, while co-branded logos are imprinted on the medial upper. As for the second silhouette, the duo presents a refined new take on the 1461 shoe. Covered in silver hardware, the low-top features DM’s classic lug outsole and sees similar branding on the quarter.
