As LVMH Watch Week 2025 commences its sixth edition, the event has adapted to recent circumstances due to the unfortunate wildfires in Los Angeles. Now split into two separate editions taking place in New York this week and Paris in the following week. Despite these challenges, the event promises to be a grand showcase of horological excellence. With TAG Heuer recently appointed as the official timekeeper for Formula 1, the Swiss Maison brings its dynamic energy into the new year, presenting an array of vibrant and innovative timepieces.

Formula 1 Chronograph

Revving up for F1, the brand has prepared four new Formula 1 Chronograph watches that continue to shine a spotlight on the world of racing with offerings that encapsulate speed, precision and innovation. The four references all arrive in 44mm case sizes with black opaline dials and aluminum black DLC tachymeter fixed bezels.

Two versions are imbued with blue and yellow accents, while the other two feature eye-catching red details. Despite all versions being crafted from grade 2 titanium, only one of the red variants boasts an uncolored build, while the remaining three are doused in black DLC for a stealthy look. Each respective hue is also incorporated onto the watch’s dial as a lacquered running track, complemented with a tonal central seconds hand.

Prices range from $4,700 – $4,900 USD, the new Formula 1 Chronographs are all powered by TAG Heuer’s Calibre 16 with 42 hours of continuous running time. The watches are fitted with titanium screw-down casebacks with special engraving, all paired with rubber straps.

Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing

In addition to the aforementioned models, TAG Heuer also readied a special Formula 1 Chronograph model in collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing. This new reference builds on the duo’s longtime partnership, bringing a fresher, more energized design to their motorsports-inspired watch.

Similar to the new F1 chronographs, this special edition showcases a more vibrant watch face design. Its blue opaline dial highlights a checkered pattern, while red and yellow accents are incorporated onto the hands, running track, case middle and the crown. Also measuring 44mm in case diameter, the usual titanium tachymeter bezel is replaced with a carbon-forged version for a modern and sporty appeal.

As a symbol of the watch’s collaborative status, the caseback engraving incorporates Oracle Red Bull Racing’s team logo alongside TAG Heuer’s signature wordmark. This is complete with a blue rubber strap with red rims that echo the watch’s overall color palette. Releasing in February, this timepiece will retail for $5,450 USD.

Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye

A nod to the Heuer Master Time/Monte Carlo stopwatches from 1965, this limited-edition timepiece marks the latest chapter to TAG Heuer and Porsche’s five-year-long partnership. Coming in steel and 18k 3N yellow gold versions, the watch stars a shimmery black dial adorned with three tonal subdials. The dial design draws inspiration from vintage Heuer dashboard timers, while the beige Super-LumiNova on the hour and minute hands serve as a reference to the original car’s leather steering wheel.

Over on the open caseback, the automotive homage continues with a Porsche steering-shaped rotor, which is affixed onto the in-house TH20-08 Chronosprint movement. The caliber offers 80 hours of continuous running power and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

Each variant is limited to 11 examples, with the steel edition retailing at $10,250 USD, while the yellow gold version is priced at $24,600 USD. Both models are accompanied by rally-style calfskin straps, with the steel variant also coming with a matching metal bracelet. The watches are packaged in ruby-red lacquer cases that include an additional strap alongside a miniature Porsche 911 “147” model.

Carrera Chronograph & Chronograph Tourbillon – Purple Editions

During last year’s LVMH Watch Week, TAG Heuer revealed a duo of Carrera Chronographs with alluring teal green dials with circular-brushed finishes. Similarly, the Maison has also unearthed a new Carrera Chronograph and Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon for this year’s event, but this time, they’re rendered in a moodier, purple fumé palette.

This eggplant-esque color choice also serves to reprise the success of the purple Monaco Chronograph that was released back in 2022. Both iterations are paired with perforated black calfskin leather straps, while the black azuré subdials tie in with the vampy color scheme also add a sense of visual depth to the watch face.

Attired in a 39mm stainless steel case boasting polished and fine-brushed finishes, the Carrera Chronograph is priced at  $6,650 USD and is powered by the TH20-00 caliber. As for the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, the model will be available in limited production of 200 pieces and will retail at $34,850 USD.

Carrera Chronograph – Diamond-Set Versions

An amalgamation of glam, sophistication and sporty appeal, TAG Heuer has expanded its Carrera Chronograph lineup with two new diamond-studded references. Available in blue and powdery pink versions, the reference’s entire rehaut is set with 72 diamonds. Adding to its sparkles, the bi-complex dial is also embellished with 11 chaton diamond indices, thus creating an elegant dialogue with its gem-set rehaut. Clad in stainless steel, the two references boast a 39mm case size and are paired with pearlescent leather straps that match their respective dial hues.

Prices go between $8,600 – $8,700 USD, the two diamond-set Carrera chronographs are powered by the in-house TH20-00 movement, which is viewable through the transparent caseback.

Carrera Date

The latest iterations of the Carrera Date arrive in soft pastel hues and a compact 36mm case size. Coming in lilac and powdery pink, the dials are rendered an alluring sunray and snail-brushed finish, topped with a gradient track that pays tribute to the Maison’s racing heritage. Furthering the timepieces’ understated glam aesthetic, 11 diamond hour markers are integrated into the dial.

Simple and elegant, these timepieces run on the Caliber 7 automatic caliber, which offers quintessential time and date indications, complete with a 56-hour power reserve. Launching in June, the two new Carrera Date watches with pastel-colored dials are each priced at $4,350 USD.
