Asake Taps Travis Scott on "Active"
Ahead of Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ – dropping this Friday.
As Asake readies the release of his new album Lungu Boy, he’s rolled out another bouncy single. Following up the Central Cee-featuring “Wave” comes another high-octane cut entitled “Active” with an assist from Travis Scott.
Paired with a dynamic music video, the cut is a captivating joint effort by Asake and Scott. Produced by Sarz and Mike Dean, “Active” also interpolates the beats and vocals of fellow fuji musician Adewale Ayuba.
“Gang activity outside (Gang) / Please believe I done seen the other side (Bang) / Remember all we had to be was alive (Hey) / Now I got twenty Vs in garage / Each house, beach house, overseas and a lodge,” spits Scott.
