Original Story: Just in time for the Paris Olympics, Anthony Edwards and adidas are gearing up for the release of the adidas AE1 Low USA “Night Indigo.” Honoring his quest for an Olympic gold with Team USA, the sleek new basketball silhouette arrives in an all “Night Indigo” mesh upper that stays true to the silhouette’s signature TPU side panel, keeping optimal ventilation. On theme with Team USA, a striking red hits the the underlay as well as accents the toe box for the patriotic notes. The “AE” moniker is woven in white on the tongue while the Three Stripes logo hits the molded back heel. Crafted with a TPU-encased Jet Boost midsole for added cushioning and a full-length torsional plate for stability and the large herringbone-traction rubber outsole for court grip, the shoe is meant for quick pivots and dynamic movements.
