Update: We’re just over a month away from the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Shadow” — a women’s-sized style that takes the original Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” colorway and enhances it with a sleek satin upper in place of its regular leather build — and now, ahead of its arrival, official images have surfaced. Check ‘em out in detail above, read the original story and past updates below for further details and expect the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Shadow” to touch down via the Nike webstore, SNKRS and select Jordan Brand stockists on October 5 for $180 USD.

Update: We kicked off the year by reporting on a rumor surrounding a new “Satin Shadow” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG. Now, seven months later, we finally have a first look at the pair. As expected, the classic “Shadow” color blocking is in place at the upper, with satin detailing included throughout. From there, a standard white stitched midsole is joined by a “Medium Grey” outsole in place of the “Shadow” colorway’s typical black outsole to complete the preview. Release is now set to take place on October 24 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $180 USD. Stay tuned for more updates and review our initial breakdown below for more info.

Original Story: Already, 2024 is poised to be a year loaded with much-anticipated launches as previews and rumors surrounding labels such as Jordan Brand continue to hit the net. Per usual, the Air Jordan 1 is set to receive love as a staple from the Jumpman team, with it starting off its year with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Yellow Ochre.” The latest news surrounding the silhouette is a rumor from reputable sneaker leakers zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files.

According to the duo, the Air Jordan 1 is returning in satin form once again this year. Previously, it debuted in a “Satin Bred” in 2016 that was reprised last year after satin versions of the “Shattered Backboard” and “Black Toe” released previously. Now, it’s being readied in a “Satin Shadow” finish — pictured above via a mock-up — that looks to recreate the OG “Shadow” colorway with a satin upper across the high-top build.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not confirmed that a “Satin Shadow” version of the Air Jordan 1 is on the way. However, it’s currently expected to release during the holiday season of this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at starting a price of $180 USD in women’s sizing.
