LEGO Unveils Latest Supercar Set: The Lamborghini Countach
A large 13 x 3.5 inch model comprised of 1506 pieces, slated for a July 4th release.
LEGO has revealed the latest edition to its Icons vehicle collection with the introduction of the Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole. This model pays homage to one of the most iconic supercars of all time, renowned for its craftsmanship, striking design, and performance.
While similar to the Speed Champions set released in 2022, this latest Countach is presented on a much larger scale, comprised of over 1,500 pieces and measuring 13 inches in length, 6.5 inches in width and 3.5 inches in height. The model is packed with authentic features that mirror the legendary vehicle, boasting a detailed cockpit, functional steering, as well as an opening trunk and rear hood. The replica also includes a meticulously crafted V12 engine, deep-dish rims, large taillights and a sleek rear spoiler. The standout feature, true to the original, is its distinctive scissor doors that open upwards.
This model offers collectors and car enthusiasts a chance to build a piece of automotive history that reflects Lamborghini’s luxury and technological innovation in a brick-built form. The Countach set is expected to be released on July 1 for LEGO Insiders and on July 4 to the public via LEGO’s official site, with a retail price of $180 USD.
