LEGO has launched a collection of new “Speed Champions” models, set to unleash the inner supercar driver in everyone. For 2022, LEGO’s latest batch of car kits includes beloved classics such as the Lamborghini Countach to the world champion Formula 1 racer, Lewis Hamilton‘s Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 racer.

The latest collection features seven cars in total but will be released in five sets. The Lamborghini Countach comes as a 262-piece module based on a later version of the LP500. With its angular shape, the automotive lends itself well to be recreated by the buildable LEGO bricks. The Ferrari 512M is available in 291-pieces and pays homage to the last of the Ferrari’s V12 endurance racers. Lastly, the 247-piece Lotus Evija rounds out LEGO’s Speed Champions single-car sets. Coming in racing green with yellow stripes, the LEGO version of the Lotus even replicates the car’s dramatic vents and unique taillight air tunnels.

Two larger sets containing two cars each features a 592-piece Aston Martin-themed pack that includes the Valkyrie AMR Pro and Vantage GT3 which come in electric lime green and grey color tone. Lastly, the long-awaited release of the Mercedes-AMG One and Hamilton’s F1 W12 racer will be available as a 564-piece set.

The single-car sets are expected to retail for $20 USD while the two-car packs will cost $40 USD. All five packs are scheduled to release in March 2022.
