Build the Great Deku Tree From ‘The Legend of Zelda’ With LEGO’s New Set

LEGO’s new set lets Legend of Zelda fans construct the Great Deku Tree, brick by brick. As a customizable 2-in-1 set, users can opt to build the version of the tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or build the tree that appears in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The tree lives within the forest and while the trees look different and serve various purposes in each Zelda story, it virtually always looks over the spirits of the forest.

The Great Deku Tree set contains 2,500 individual pieces. In addition to the tree itself, it also comprises sets from the Zelda franchise, along with the Master Sword pedestal from Breath of the Wild and Link’s House from Ocarina of Time.

Adding on to the two different build options for the tree, the Breath of the Wild version allows Deku’s face to be animated using a lever, and the Ocarina of Time rendition can open its mouth, revealing Skulltula, an enemy spider from the game.

Rounding out the set are four miniature figurines: Princess Zelda and Link from Breath of the Wild and Young Link and Link from Ocarina of Time.

This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with unique features that are a great fit for the nature of the series.”
