Yesterday, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philly Phanatic himself sported a new “Philly” colorway of the Nike Dunk Low.  While the silhouette continues its dominance in the sneaker space, albeit with a bit less emphasis than its SB Dunk Low counterpart, Nike remains consistent with its output of new looks. This time paying homage to “The City of Brotherly Love,” the Swoosh teamed up with Philadelphia-based retailers Lapstone & Hammer and Creme to assemble a fitting tribute to the city.

Starting with a tumbled leather base in white, the pair notably sports textured gray overlays and Swooshes at each side of the shoe. From there, the heel tabs have been adorned with a “PHILLY” hit in a marbled blend of yellow, orange and teal that matches the tongue tag and lining. Its forest green laces tie in to the theme as well thanks to their coordinate text just below the mustard yellow aglets. A white stitched midsole and black rubber outsole complete the pair while Nike also took the time to design a custom mascot-approved sneaker based on the shoe to accompany the release.

Release for the Nike Dunk Low “Philly” is set to take place via both Lapstone & Hammer and Creme on May 30. From there, select stores in Philadelphia — including the Phillies stadium store — are set to drop the pair on June 1.
