In the art, design and even fashion world, Takashi Murakami is a widely recognized and celebrated name. Known for his signature multicolor flower motifs, the Japanese artist’s works have pervaded global exhibitions, special collaborations and even cozy pillows in living or bedrooms. Now Takashi Murakami has teamed up with the Brooklyn Museum to launch an exclusive merchandise collection.

Crafted especially for the museum’s gift shop, the new collection sees a range of items featuring a clock, a watch, a journal, a wallet, a cardholder, 2D and 3D chrome stickers, a lighter and books. Regardless of the item, the entire lot is outfitted with the artist’s playful flower and cartoon character designs that are livened by every shade of the rainbow. So whether it’s an everyday item like a cardholder or something fun like a sticker, they all maintain Murakami’s playful aesthetic.

The new merch collection is in support of Murakami’s paintings at the Brooklyn Museum Hiroshige’s 100 Famous Views of Edo (feat. Takashi Murakami) exhibition. The exhibition is now on view through August 4, 2024.

Take a look at the new offering in the gallery above. The Takashi Murakami x Brooklyn Museum merch collection is available now exclusively at the museum’s gift shop and online.
