Glow in the Dark – and on the Dancefloor – in the Carhartt WIP x Tresor "Techno Alliance" Capsule
The nine-piece collaboration merges the styles of two major music cities: Carhartt’s Detroit and Tresor’s Berlin.
Carhartt WIP continues to redefine workwear and take its streetwear-influenced styles to new places; this time, the imprint is taking it to the club. In partnership with the iconic Berlin club Tresor, Carhartt WIP has whipped up a range of glow-in-the-dark apparel and other accessories in a capsule entitled “A Techno Alliance.”
The nine-piece range is dipped in a vibrant blue and black colorway and looks to “merge the industrial spirit of Berlin and Detroit (Carhartt’s hometown) with a sense of 90s dance floor energy,” a press release notes.
A “Way Of The Light Michigan Coat” leads the offering. Embodying a chore coat silhouette, the jacket is enveloped in blue and crafted fully from canvas, aside from its corduroy collar. Reflective gray graphic prints are imprinted throughout, with triple stitch details and patch pocketing on the chest. Elsewhere, the duo delivers a lineup of co-branded hoodies and tees, some of which are stamped with Carhartt’s Boogeyman graphic.

On the accessory front, the pair curated a glow-in-the-dark canvas strap bag as well as a vinyl compilation. Entitled 030313, the 12” vinyl’s name combines the dialing codes of Berlin (030) and Detroit (313) and draws sonic influence from Tresor’s Tresor II – A Techno Alliance 90s compilation vinyl.
