Clairo Announces Third Studio Album 'Charm' and Drops off First Single
The third time’s the charm.
Clairo has made her ethereal return, bearing plenty of good news. Not only has the songstress announced her third studio album aptly entitled Charm, but she’s also given us a glimpse into the project’s persona with its first single “Sexy to Someone.”
Charm is slated to release on July 12, almost exactly three years after her sophomore project Sling. Each of Clairo’s LPs are produced in tandem with one specific producer, with Charm‘s production championed by El Michels Affair’s Leon Michels. Per Rolling Stone, the album was recorded fully in the state of New York, with the artist alternating between studios in Woodstock (Allaire Studios) and Queens (Diamond Mine Recording.)

“Sexy to Someone” – which lands as the project’s second track – is a classic Claire Cottrill offering, carried by a breezy beat and the songstress’s effortlessly dreamy vocals. “Sexy to somebody, it would help me out / Oh, I need a reason to get out of the house / And it’s just a little thing I can’t live without,” she croons on the chorus.
