Lancey Foux got the whole gang together on his latest single. On his third offering of 2024 “Daylight,” the UK rapper tapped labelmate and fellow rapper-rocker Teezo Touchdown for some bars and Cash Cobain for production.

“She said, ‘I wanna love to the daylight’ / She said, ‘I wanna love to the day I die’,” Foux repeats on the chorus of the reflective cut.

The song comes accompanied by a cinematic music video as well, which sees the two rappers performing the song in a desolate desert, among other dystopian-looking locations, donning futuristic outfits. Check it out in the gallery above.

“Daylight” arrives two months after Foux unveiled his two-pack of “On Ur Mind” and “Live Forever,” whereas Teezo is fresh off a bevy of big-name features – Doja Cat, Audrey Nuna and Zack Bia included – and his How Do You Sleep At Night? deluxe, How Do You Sleep At Night? With You.

The cut finds Cash continuing his not-so-behind-the-scenes production hot streak. In the last month alone, the Slizzy Gang’s fearless leader has appeared on five tracks including “Daylight”; others include the infamous “Fisherrr” remix with Ice Spice, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie‘s “Body,” Don Toliver‘s “Attitude” and most recently, “Grippy” which is essentially a J.Cole remix of “Dunk Contest.”

Stream “Daylight” on Spotify and Apple Music now.
