Devereux and Johnnie Walker Toast to a Summer of Golf

Since the first time a ball was struck with a lofted club in seaside Scotland, golf and whiskey have been intertwined. Even to this day, for many people a golf trip across the pond isn’t complete without visiting Scotland’s great distillers, and perhaps none are quite as widely known as Johnnie Walker and its “striding man” logo. While the brand has been around the game of golf for a while, this year it’s making a push to unite with the new wave of golf that’s centered around fashion, art, culture and community. That’s why Johnnie Walker Black Label has teamed up with lifestyle golf brand Devereux on a three part collaboration of apparel.
The first installment, called the Johnnie Walker Golf Collection, has officially launched, and leans heavily on Devereux’s expertise in designing versatile and supremely wearable pieces. The first drop consists of headwear, towels and tee shirts inspired by three golf-inspired Johnnie Walker cocktails – The KEEP WALKING 18, The Johnnie Palmer and the Blue in One. The ingredients for said cocktails appear on the reverse side of said shirts, while others wax lyrical about the connection between Scotch and golf. The cocktails and accompanying apparel were unveiled recently at the PGA TOUR’s Charles Schwab Challenge, and Johnnie Walker will continue to show up throughout the year at key moments on the golf calendar.
“When Johnnie Walker reached out to collaborate, we were instantly in. Devereux Golf is all about the freedom of the game and bringing people together, what better way to do that than with the perfect accoutrement to the game – Johnnie Walker,” said Devereux co-founder Bert Brunner.
The items range between $35 and $45 USD and are available on Devereux’s website now.
