Awake NY and Jordan's Much-Loved Collaboration Is Coming Back
Due to high demand, the duo is reviving their joint Air Ship sneaker, as well as their varsity jacket and flannel shirt, this weekend.
In March, Awake NY dropped a highly sought-after apparel and footwear collaboration with Jordan Brand, as part of a larger partnership that’s slated to take course throughout this year. Their first batch of goods, which included a colorful take on the Air Ship, a leather varsity jacket, an acid-washed flannel and more, quickly sold out due to high demand. Before revealing what they have next in the pipeline, the duo has announced a restock for select pieces from the inaugural launch.
The collection’s revival will include the Air Ship PE, which features red snakeskin accents and red trim across its facade. The bold color scheme is grounded by silver Swooshes, white leather uppers and “aged” midsoles and outsoles. Rounding out the design specs, Awake’s “A” motif is positioned on the lateral forefoot.
Elsewhere, the restock includes the pair’s leather varsity jacket, which houses a dual-branded patch on the chest, as well as gothic “Jordan” lettering down the torso. Awake’s block-letter signage surrounds Jordan’s signature iconography on the back, while similar red snakeskin lines both arms. Rounding out the drop, the flannel shirt boasts an acidic, bleached-blue finish, with a faded iteration of the collaboration’s logo splattered across the back.
