Ice Spice will be putting out her long-awaited debut album. Two years after her breakout single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” arrived on streaming services, the Bronx-born rapper has announced the forthcoming Y2K.

An exact release date for the LP hasn’t been revealed but it’s slated for sometime later this year. Ahead of then, Spice is giving fans a taste of the project with the song “Gimmie A Light.”

Produced by her longtime collaborator RiotUSA, who also produced “Munch,” “Gimmie A Light” is a bouncy rap track that sees Spice deliver her typical witty bars. It debuted alongside an official music video offering a glimpse into the rapper’s lavish lifestyle, from hanging out in a pink Range Rover to sipping a drink and counting her cash.

The song samples Sean Paul’s 2002 cut “Gimme the Light,” the perfect dancehall beat for Spice’s bars.
