It’s a Sosa summer. Chief Keef has officially unveiled the follow-up to his legendary Almighty So mixtape from 2013. Dubbed Almighty So 2, the project comes stacked with features from Sexyy Red, Quavo, Tierra Whack, G Herbo, Ballout and Lil Gnar; needless to say, it was worth the wait.
The rapper surprise-announced the project on socials earlier this week, dropping off a cinematic trailer, which obviously had the internet on cloud nine.
Almighty So 2 marks Sosa’s fifth studio album and first solo studio project since 2021’s 4NEM – though the rapper has been busy, recently dropping off the hard-hitting DIRTY NACHOS collab album with Mike WiLL Made-It.
Riddled with realness and DIY-type production – the rapper self-produced nearly the entire album – the 16-track project is a classic Keef offering and feels like a natural follow-up in the Almighty So series, despite arriving over a decade later. With intentionally selected featured artists (longtime collaborators Ballout and G Herbo show out on the same track) and Sosa-style samples, the album also includes the rapper’s “Tony Montana Flow” track from 2022.
Stream Almighty So 2 on Spotify and Apple Music now – and keep an eye out for more visuals from the album, slated to drop soon.
