‘The Chi’ Returns With an Action-Packed Trailer for Season 6 Part 2

The storyline of Lena Waithe’s The Chi will continue with the upcoming release of the second half of the sixth season. The coming-of-age drama follows those growing up in a community of the Southside of Chicago following an event that alters the course of their lives and connects individuals in an unexpected way

Streaming on Paramount+, TLa La AnthonyIman Shumperthe Chi begin airing in 2018 and was renewed for its sixth season back in 2022. The 16-episode run was split into two parts, with the first half having aired in August.

The trailer for the forthcoming eight episodes is out now and previews an action-packed sequence, holding a lens up to the aftermath of Q’s murder, while Emmett engages in a few shady business deals. Papa, meanwhile, struggles after the loss of his father.

Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolonda Ross, Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Birgundi Baker, Luke James and Curtiss Cook make up the main cast of the show. Among the guest stars of the sixth season are Kandi Burruss, La La Anthony, Vic Mensa, Carolyn Michelle Smith, Jason Weaver and Iman Shumpert.
