Immerse Yourself in Sabato De Sarno’s World With New Apple Vision Pro Experience

Gucci is launching a VR experience to accompany its creative director’s new documentary.

An interactive experience for the new documentary, Who is Sabato De Sarno?, A Gucci Story, will be getting the Apple Vision Pro treatment. Beginning on April 3, the headset will offer an immersive experience for users centered on the film.

How the experience will take form isn’t totally clear but Gucci says that it’ll blend physical reality, moving between scenes from the documentary into the real world. Users will be able to immerse themselves within the film’s environment with the aid of 3D, special effects and backgrounds.

Transported to Milan, Italy, the fashion house says that users will even have the chance to interact with a Gucci Jackie Notte, the latest bag created by De Sarno. T

The creative director took the reins of Gucci last year and debuted his first collection in September at Milan Fashion Week. Prior, he oversaw the design of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections at Valentino.

Who Is Sabato De Sarno? premiered on Mubi earlier this month, narrated by brand ambassador Paul Mescal and featuring interviews with producer Mark Ronson, stylist Alastair McKimm and more.

Those interested in the immersive experience will have to download the Gucci app on the Vision Pro.
