Mary J. Blige, Cher, A Tribe Called Quest and More To Be Inducted Into 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The ceremony is set to take place this October.
A total of 16 music figures are officially set to be inducted into the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Class of 2024 is split into three categories, namely the Performer Category, Musical Influence Award and Musical Excellence Award, along with the solo Ahmet Ertegun Award. The eight musical artists inducted under the Performer Category were voted in via a ballot and include Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest.
Alexis Korner, John Mayall and Big Mama Thornton will receive the Musical Influence Award while Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick and Norman Whitfield will take home the Musical Excellence Award. Last but not least, businesswoman and music, TV and film producer Suzanne de Passe will be honored with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 19.
