Lamborghini and French sports equipment giant Babolat have teamed up to create an exclusive line of padel racquets. This partnership merges Lamborghini’s renowned carbon fiber craftsmanship with Babolat’s expertise in racquet sports technology.

The first model from this collaboration, the BL001, was recently showcased at the Lamborghini Arena in Imola, in the presence of Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann and Babolat’s CEO Éric Babolat. Limited to just 50 units, the BL001 racquet features advanced materials and techniques used in Lamborghini’s super sports cars, promising unparalleled performance on the padel court.

Available in five striking Lamborghini colors, including Giallo Auge and Verde Viper, the BL001 incorporates a rigid peripheral monocoque frame, reminiscent of those used in sports car chassis. This design ensures minimal deformation of the racquet’s striking zone, optimizing control and power for the player.

“The collaboration with Babolat enables us to channel our state-of-the-art carbon fiber technology into an exciting new arena,” said Stephan Winkelmann, emphasizing the unique crossover between high-end automobiles and sports equipment.

Following the BL001, Babolat plans to expand this exclusive range with two additional models, the BL002 and BL003, set to be developed and released over the coming years.
