In an ode to its iconic V10 super sports car, Lamborghini has unveiled the Huracán STJ “The Last Dance,” a farewell edition limited to just ten units — one for every cylinder in the fan-favorite engine. This exclusive series marks the end of an era for the V10 engine, a hallmark of Lamborghini’s engineering prowess that has powered the success of the Huracán family since its debut in 2014.

Derived from the high-performance Huracán STO, the STJ edition — which stands for Super Trofeo Jota — elevates the racing heritage of the Huracán to new heights. It pays homage to Lamborghini’s one-make championship and follows a lineage of track-focused Lamborghinis, emphasizing the fusion of motorsport innovation and road-going prowess. The name “Jota” nods to the FIA’s Appendix J, which outlines racing car specifications, connecting the STJ to legendary models like the Miura SVJ and Aventador SVJ.

The Huracán STJ distinguishes itself with a specialized aerodynamic package, meticulously developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s technicians. This package includes unique carbon fiber additions and an enhanced rear wing angle, increasing aerodynamic load by 10 percent over the standard model. These modifications contribute to the car’s balance and performance, which will be particularly noticeable for those who take it on the track.

Under the hood, the STJ retains the formidable 640 CV power output of the STO, managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and directed to the rear wheels. The car’s agility and response are further refined by adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers, allowing for a customized driving experience tailored to different track conditions. Through a collaboration with Bridgestone, the STJ features bespoke Potenza Race tires, providing excellent grip and responsiveness.

Performance is matched by distinctive styling, with Lamborghini Centro Stile offering two striking color configurations for the STJ. The interior reflects the car’s sporty essence, with Alcantara seats and bespoke detailing. Each unit features a numbered carbon fiber plate, adding an exclusive touch to this limited edition series.

While the Huracán STJ “The Last Dance,” marks the end of an era for the V10, it also sets the stage for the automaker’s next generation of super sports cars and its transition to prioritization of hybrid powertrains — which whether you love it or hate it, will lead to new performance feats.
