GOOMHEO FW24 Escapes To Unknown Beauty
Continuing its sexy demeanor.
London’s Fashion East incubator has a knack for producing exceptional and original design talent. One of its alum, South-Koren designer Goom Heo, has been refining her affinity for irrefutably sensual, yet still wearable menswear ever since her debut with Fashion East in 2020. Now the designer is adding to her universe with the reveal of GOOMHEO’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
For the latest, Goom Heo looked to unknown beauty that is actualized by a dream-like journey. How this translated to the collection’s sensual pieces is through subversive experimentation. Inside the wardrobe, you’ll find crop top denim jackets, flared trench coats, Herringbone and tweed wool jackets, shirts and pants with extra sleeves, dramatically oversized pants, hoodies and more.
But a special highlight is structured bomber jackets with square shoulders and ribbed corset torsos – leaning perfectly into the brand’s sexy aesthetic. But what also shows the brand’s evolution alongside providing collection character is the fusion of tailored and street dress notes. With the wardrobe, there are garments fit for a polished Sunday brunch alongside outfits for a night out in the city. Rounding out the collection are accessories and footwear like classic boots, baker boy-style hats and crossbody bags.
