Original Story: Nike‘s web3-powered hub, .SWOOSH is getting another Air Force 1 Low iteration. Landing back in the real world, .SWOOSH is releasing a Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error,” aiming to bridge the digital world with this one.
Venturing outside of the metaverse, the AF1 Low is constructed in a vibrant racer blue patent upper that seems to be different from what a typical Air Force 1 Low would look like. Without any seams, the shoe only features the recognizable Swoosh emblem. Using the universal digital term for a system going down, the shoe uses the “404 Error” message on the heel. The color of the shoe resembles that of a blank screen when system errors were triggered. The medial heel features the message, “404 Error, the requested upper was not found. Try again.” The shoe sits atop a white midsole and icy translucent outsole to round out the design.
Look out for the .SWOOSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low “404 Error” arriving this summer at select retailers and online at Nike for $150 USD.
