Lamborghini debuted the 1,050-horsepower Revuelto SV at Monterey Car Week. It features active cooling overhauls, GT3-derived traction control, and carbon aero. Production is strictly limited to 1,963 units honoring Lamborghini's founding year.

Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Revuelto SV during Monterey Car Week. The Italian automaker’s flagship V-12 hybrid powertrain receives a massive power increase for the Super Veloce variant, jumping to 1,050 horsepower and 1,051 lb-ft of torque. This performance boost stems from a more energy-dense 7.3 kWh battery pack that provides an extra 190 kW to the electric motors. The resulting metrics are staggering, with the wedge-shaped supercar clearing 62 mph in a claimed 2.4 seconds and 124 mph in 6.7 seconds before topping out beyond 214 mph. Production is strictly capped at 1,963 units to honor the founding year of the brand.

Harnessing that much electrical power presents a unique engineering hurdle. Revuelto product line director Alessandro Farmerschi identified temperature management as the primary developmental challenge. Early track prototypes suffered from power de-rating due to excessive heat build-up within the hybrid system. To resolve this without compromising the aggressive design, engineers constantly repositioned the radiators and reshaped the fenders. The team completely overhauled the aerodynamics by replacing the active rear wing with a massive fixed carbon fiber component and incorporating enlarged side air inlets to force cold air into the engine bay.

The intense focus on heat dissipation heavily influenced the chassis upgrades. Lamborghini equipped the Revuelto SV with a Brembo-derived CCM-R Plus braking system constructed from long carbon fibers pressed into a uniform rotor surface. When paired with new adjustable passive dampers and bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Race R tires, the braking setup achieves a reported 23 percent improvement in cooling efficiency and drops disc temperatures by 12 percent.

Consistent repeatability separates a true track weapon from a standard street vehicle. To give drivers total command over the extreme mechanical grip, the automaker introduced a Pilota driving mode and an exclusive 6D sensor borrowed from the Urus Performante SE. Activated via a dedicated steering wheel dial, the Pilota setting engages a five-stage traction control system directly derived from Lamborghini GT3 race cars. This blend of motorsport-grade software and ruthless thermal engineering ensures the flagship model delivers blistering lap times without overheating.
