Killer Mike Announces 'Down By Law Tour,' Featuring Three Nights at NYC's Blue Note Jazz Club
Also dropping off the “EXIT 9” video.
Killer Mike has announced his next on-road trek. Fresh off his Grammys sweep, Killer Mike will bring the acclaimed MICHAEL album around the country this summer – backed by his very own The Midnight Revival choir – on the Down By Law Tour beginning next month in Memphis, Tennessee.
Down By Law – which shares the same name as MICHAEL‘s opening track – begins on May 4 at the Riverbeats Festival, followed by stops in Washington, DC, Atlanta and throughout Canada.
The Atlanta rapper will then perform a three-night residency at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club to close out July, and wrap the tour on the West Coast. Each Blue Note performance will consist of two sets – an early set at 8 p.m. and a late set at 10:30 p.m. See the full list of dates and venues below.
In addition to announcing Down By Law, Killer Mike also unleashed the celebratory visual for the album’s “EXIT 9” with Blxst. A big Atlanta moment, the visual sees the duo show out at a slew of signature ATL landmarks, like the Cascade roller rink and the Blue Flame.
