Todd Phillips Unveils First Poster of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in 'Joker: Folie á Deux'
The director also announced the first trailer’s release date.
The first official poster for the upcoming Joker: Folie á Deux is finally here.
Unveiled by director Todd Phillips himself, the poster sees lead stars Joaquin Phoenix (Arthur Fleck/Joker) and Lady Gaga (Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn) mid-dance. Underneath the title is the tagline “The World Is A Stage,” hinting at the sequel’s musical aspects, as well as the official release date of October 4. Phillips also confirmed that the film’s first trailer will release on April 9.
Folie á Deux will follow the story of Phoenix’s Joker as he meet’s Gaga’s Harley Quinn, a doctor who is assigned to treat him and eventually falls in love with him. Also joining the duo are Zazie Beetz, who reprises her role of Arthur’s former neighbor Sophie Dumond from the first film, along with Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener.
