In the latest collaboration between OTW by Vans and the visionary New York-based designer, Imran Potato, the Knu Skool MTE emerges as a sophisticated homage to the iconic ’90s skate culture and is meticulously updated for the contemporary audience. This partnership represents a blend of OTW by Vans‘ commitment to innovation and Imran Potato’s distinctive approach to design, characterized by a playful yet sincere disruption of fashion norms. This partnership and latest endeavor also marks an evolution from their initial Sk8-Hi capsule collaboration back in 2022.

The Knu Skool MTE stands out through its thoughtful design elements, including overstuffed gusseted tongues for enhanced comfort, high-quality watertight suede uppers for enduring durability and lugged outsoles for unmatched traction. These elements draw inspiration from the harsh New York winters and a deep passion for snowboarding, demonstrating the sneaker’s versatility across various urban settings. Co-branding is tastefully applied to the tongue, heel, and lace tips, all packaged in the unique Potato x Vans boxes reminiscing the classic composition notebooks.

Scheduled for release on April 3 with a price point of $130 USD, the OTW by Vans x Imran Potato Knu Skool MTE will be available in a navy colorway across select platforms and retail partners, including otw.vans.com and imranpotato.com. Meanwhile, an exclusive black variant is offered solely on Imran Potato’s website.
