Ever since Parmigiani Fleurier premiered its Tonda PF, the Maison has introduced a number of iterations for its new emblematic model. Among its roster of variants, one of the most impeccable types that best expresses the Maison’s extraordinary watchmaking prowess is the calendar complications. Joining the ranks of Tonda PF Gregorian and the Xiali is the Hijri Perpetual Calendar.

The Maison embraces “a vision that transcends mere timekeeping to touch the very essence of our world’s cultural and historical diversity,” that “this vision shapes every creation of the brand, bearing witness to our deep commitment to understanding and respecting the multifaceted nature of time across epochs and civilizations,” explained Guido Terreni, Parmigiani Fleurier’s CEO.

Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, the timepiece highlights a viridian green dial with the Maison’s emblematic grain d’Orge hand-guilloché finishing. The dial is equipped with the Hijiri year, month, date and blue aventurine moon phase display.

Echoing the sleek build of the watch and integrated steel bracelet, the fluted platinum bezel, alongside the 18-carat gold and rhodium-plated indices and hands on the dial completes the watch’s elegant color schemes.

Geared with 100 meters of water resistance, the wristwatch runs on the in-house PF009 movement complete with 48 hours of power reserve. Made up of 310 components, the impressive caliber is fully on view through the open sapphire crystal caseback.

The Tonda PF Hijri Perpetual Calendar has a price tag of 62,500 CHF/$67,200 USD). For more details regarding the timepiece, visit Parmigiani Fleurier’s official website.
