The adidas AE1 "McDonald's All American" Has an Official Release Date
Following its release as a PE.
Anthony Edwards and adidas have cooked up something special for the AE1. Paying homage to the annual McDonald’s All American Game, the shoe was first revealed by Gilbert Arenas on social media. At first, it was rumored to be a PE for those participating in the event, but Edwards is now set to release these shoes this week.
From the official images and the Arenas’ teasers, the adidas AE1 “McDonald’s All American” sees the pair don a mismatched red and blue color blocking, a nod to the East and West Coast teams. Both shoes feature a white sock lining and mesh upper with one shoe highlighted in blue and the other in red along the heel and TPU overlay and outsole. The shoes also feature the McDonald’s “M” golden arches on the heel and pull tab.
The adidas AE1 “McDonald’s All American Game” is now set to release on March 29 exclusively at Foot Locker for $120 USD.
