The “YOSHI IS GOOD" Tribute Pop-Up Is Coming to Shibuya PARCO
To open on the late-model and singer’s birthday.

Later this month, Tokyo-based entertainment agency STARBASE®︎ will be hosting “YOSHI IS GOOD,” a tribute pop-up dedicated to the late YOSHI (Yoshizumi Sasaki).
Died at the age of 19 from a motorcycle accident, YOSHI was a rising talent in Japan before his death. Having caught the attention of Virgil Abloh for his unique dressing style at Off-White’s Minami-Aoyama store opening, 13-year-old YOSHI then kickstarted his modeling career. Throughout his career, he had modeled for the likes of Off-White and Helmut Lang. In 2019, he also debuted as a singer under the Universal Music Japan-owned label, Virgin Music.
In memory of YOSHI, his talent agency, STARBASE®︎ is organizing the pop-up event that will feature re-released clothing that was designed by the late model and singer himself prior to his death. In addition, a new selection of merch featuring YOSHI’s portraits will also be unveiled at the event.
The tribute pop-up will open on February 23 and will run for ten days until March 3. A portion of the proceeds will be used to support initiatives that YOSHI had wished for before his death.
