Preview the Illustration Rare Cards From 'Pokémon TCG: Paldean Fates'
Shiny Pokémon make a return to the game, including a fan-favorite: Charizard.
The Pokémon TCG rounded out another major year last November by introducing Ancient and Future Pokémon to the game with Paradox Rift. Now, it has kicked off 2024 with the launch of its latest set – Paldean Fates. Packed with over 200 cards, the special expansion notably highlights many of the shiny Pokémon found in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and serves as a sequel to the Shining Fates and Hidden Fates sets produced for the last two generations.
With the set officially on the market now, The Pokémon Company has shared a complete breakdown of what to expect from Paldean Fates. Looking specifically at the illustration rare cards, new Pokémon found in Scarlet and Violet are highlighted with Wugtrio, Palafin and Pawmi all appearing in their shiny coloring. Adding to the excitement, fan-favorites Mew, Gardevoir and Charizard have all been illustrated in their shiny designs as well. Various characters from this generation also appear in illustration form via ten different Supporter cards.
