Born X Raised and NASCAR Reveal an Engine-Revving Collaboration
With a campaign starring India Love and 03 Greedo.
After reuniting with the LA Kings for a cut-and-sew collaboration last month, Born X Raised has returned with another capsule of elevated fan merchandise — this time, in partnership with NASCAR.
Arriving ahead of this year’s Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum, the trackside collection is filled with racer-inspired silhouettes. Among them, the racecar jacket dons allover BXR and NASCAR patchwork, with the Los Angeles-based brand’s classic iconography sprawling across its back. There’s a number of long-sleeves and T-shirts that feature Old English takes on BXR’s lettering, with classic NASCAR motifs, as well as a knit logo beanie that houses racing embroidery. Notably, the line also includes a T-shirt and a hat that are modeled after vintage NASCAR merch.
In classic Born X Raised fashion, the collection’s campaign pays a big homage to Los Angeles. The sartorial delivery stars Los Angeles model and content creator India Love, as well as 03 Greedo, a rapper from the city’s Watts neighborhood. The images were shot by Carlos Jaramillo at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where NASCAR’s annual non-championship pre-season series is scheduled to take place on February 4.
Born X Raised’s NASCAR collection will launch on Friday, February 2, at 12 p.m. PT via the brand’s webstore. Take a closer look at the collection in the gallery above.
