ScHoolboy Q Announces 'Blue Lips,' First Album in Five Years

After TDE‘s list of expected releases for 2024 surfaced, ScHoolboy Q formally announced his first project in five years. Entitled Blue Lips, the rapper dropped off the album’s official trailer, which presents the album’s tracklist ahead of its springtime release date.

The trailer imbues a tracklist of 17 songs scribbled in a cursive-type font, including titles like “Love Birds,” “Smile,” “Movie,” “Ohio,” “Lost Times” and “Time Killers.” No features are listed on the tracklist.

“Every Tuesday & tHursday we previewing tHe album….” he wrote in another message on the platform.

At the end of the trailer, a title card with the definition of “blue lips” appears, which can be defined as “speechless, especially as the temporary result of shock or strong emotion” among other listed examples.

Blue Lips will mark the sixth studio album for the rapper, coming five years after his latest EP CrasH Talk in 2019.
