Han Kjøbenhavn's FW24 "SILENCE" Runway Show Was Loud and Clear
Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen recalled his adolescence at local sports clubs and closed Copenhagen Fashion Week with the best reveal of FW24.

Copenhagen’s very own Han Kjøbenhavn has just closed Copenhagen Fashion Week with the best runway show of the season. While founder Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen has become accustomed to Milanese reveals, the designer returned to his home ground for Fall/Winter 2024.
Han Kjøbenhavn’s sinister aura was portrayed across 22 looks, decking the hallowed halls of Copenhagen’s Mineralvandsfabrikke complex. The pillared corridors were haunted by devilish booms that echoed through the walls, debuting the brand’s “SILENCE” collection that was loud and clear. Han Kjøbenhavn channeled familiar emotions of discomfort, recalling his adolescence at local sports clubs.
A bare-chested, broad-shouldered model walked the runway with footballs in hand, grasping onto chained cages that secured black-colored equipment. Bold “ULTRA” lettering jumped from two-toned athletic shorts with muted team logos, seeing Han Kjøbenhavn steal the crown for the best show of FW24 by look three.
Structural silhouettes dominated the collection with commanding energy, with elongated sleeves becoming a clear standout. Relaxed sweatpants arrived in colossal proportions, blending into stacked boots à la Rick Owens. Fur coats donned gradient accents that bled from black to grey, while skin-tight uniforms were ready for kickoff alongside puffed bomber jackets and collarless coats looted from Dracula’s closet. Floor-length hair extensions peeked from protective headgear, concluding the collection with a doomful veil that conceals the wearer’s identity entirely.
