While it hasn’t touched down on shelves just yet, Nike SB’s latest skate-ready sneaker — the Nike SB Vertebrae — has already built up momentum thanks to its slick, uniquely-structured design. After a “Black/Gum” colorway surfaced at the start of the year, a “Summit White” pair popped up with “Dark Obsidian” and “Persian Violet” detailing. Now, another version of the shoe has approached the “Summit White” arrangement, this time sprinkling in “University Red” accents.

As it is being readied for its debut in the two previously-discussed colorways, the Nike SB Vertebrae has now been unveiled with a combination of “Summit White” and “University Red.” Its upper again features a combination of suede, leather and synthetic layers as gray and white cover a majority of the upper. Its “University Red” accents arrive at the Swooshes, heel, laces and the tongue’s Nike SB branding while the sole unit favors a simple off-white presentation to round things out.

At the time of writing, Nike and the Nike SB team have not disclosed any release details regarding to this “University Red”-backed iteration of the new Nike SB Vertebrae. Stay tuned for updates as it’s likely to arrive in the coming weeks via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $85 USD.
