Yung Miami is celebrating her 24th birthday by giving us all a gift: a fire freestyle. On “50/50,” the rapper reminds everyone she does not suffer fools gladly.

Caresha goes in on the nearly two-minute track, holding no sentiments back in the hard-hitting lyrics and punchy adlibs. “Money gettin’, I’m a money spender, you a runner / I ain’t goin’ 50/50 with no n****, I’m a hundred,” she steps onto the beat. Later on, she takes a shot at DJ Akademiks –  “Meat puller on your knees, how you standin’ on the business? /
Akademiks, you a b****, why you speakin’ on women?”

“I’m still on my sh*t… happy early birthday to me!” she wrote in an Instagram caption. In an official press release, she gave a more concrete explanation of what her YAMS era actually entails.

“It’s simple… the YAMS is Miami! I am Miami… the culture, the looks, the vibe, the authenticity, the accent,” she wrote in the statement. “I am fully embracing my roots in my new era that I consider my prime time. I’m expressing more of my creative side in music, fashion, and art. It’s cocky, arrogant and fly.”

Stream “50/50” on Spotify and Apple Music now, and stay tuned to Hypebeast for Caresha’s upcoming releases.
