Louis Vuitton Launches LV Diamonds Collection
Boasting mine-to-finger traceability.

Aside from its luxury luggage, ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories offerings, fine jewelry has become an increasingly important arena for Louis Vuitton. So continue building it out, the French luxury house has launched its new LV Diamonds collection.
Standing out in the line is the focal LV Monogram Star diamond, which is inspired by the brand’s signature flower monogram design. The brand previously teased its forthcoming fine jewelry offerings last year where the Monogram Star diamond was used in LV’s fine jewelry designs for the first time. Although the line, which consisted of bridal designs like rings and more, only saw very limited releases in the United States and Japan.
But the standout feature of Louis Vuitton’s new LV Diamonds collection is its mine-to-finer traceability. With it, customers can view the steps of their beloved central stones including mining extraction, sorting, polishing and setting. Alongside tracing the steps, owners will also have a video of the rough stone their diamond or diamonds were sourced from. The tracing is all made possible through digital certificates backed by the Aura Consortium Blockchain. With the new process, Louis Vuitton is a driving force offering closer details on diamonds insight as many larger houses have yet to do so.
