Elliott Evan Is Nostalgic in His Debut Collection "Years in Memory // Race Team"
Reimagining vintage dirt bike racing outfits.

To Elliott Evan, his latest body of work is an extension of his lived in experiences. His debut collection “Years in Memory // Race Team” stems from his memories and lived in experiences. Evan recently showcased the collection at an inconspicuous warehouse. The eery location set the tone for the creative direction of the collection. Inside the warehouse an illuminated path of vintage dirt bike racing masks guided the way inside where the debut collection of Elliott Evan can be seen.
The collections leans into the sport in a way that brings emotion and heartbreak to the forefront. The need for speed mantra is interrupted b the reimagined 1970s racing outfit aesthetic. All leather biker jackets that sport a worn-like texture are paired with matching pants, featuring signature Elliott Evan slogans throughout. The retro aesthetic is remniscent of the era’s racing suits, heavy duty trousers tight to the body and a boxy yet fitted leather jacket. Combining this with a modern outlook, the collection gives way to classic shapes.
In the past, Elliott Evan has held various roles within the industry. His design resumé sees Evan in sample and pattern making and costume design. Previously, he worked closely with the likes of Greg Ross and Unsound Rags, even adding to his portfolio boxing fits for Logan Paul and on-stage looks for Travis Scott.
