Authmade Merges Motorspot and Basketball in NBA All-Star 2024 Capsule
Tapping into the rich racing history of Indianapolis.
It’s only right that Authmade contribute to the lineup of NBA All-Star Weekend capsules. With the festivities moving back to Indianapolis, Indiana this year, the seasoned sports fashion outfitter looked to the city’s indelible connection with motorsport to meld the worlds of basketball and racing in a clean new collection.
A cohesive blend of both sports’ ethos and aesthetic, Authmade’s NBA All-Star Collection draws from the uniforms of mechanics, racers and pit crews.
A heavyweight canvas twill racing jacket leads the pack. The jet-black silhouette sees red accents and other warm-toned gradient detailing, polished off with NBA and racing patches stitched on throughout.
Elsewhere, co-branded garment-dyed pullover hoodies also feature embroidered patches and oversized graphics. A knit sweater lands in a gray colorway and reads “INDY 24” across the middle with the NBA logo underneath. A solid lineup of co-branded graphic tees rounds out the apparel range.
For the lookbook, Authmade hit another city central to motorsport’s trajectory: Milan, Italy. Continuing on the capsule’s authenticity to the sport, Authmade also whipped up a co-branded racing helmet. Check out the full lookbook in the gallery above.
