Rui Hachimura has been a notable contributor to the Los Angeles Lakers since being traded to the team in 2023. At the same time, he’s continued to work closely with Jordan Brand to assemble unique colorways of Air Jordans, including a pair of Air Jordan 38s last year. Looking ahead to 2025, he’ll be revisiting the Air Jordan 1 Low OG to drop an “Oatmeal” version of his “Cranes” colorway.

It’s been over two years since Hachimura’s black “Cranes” pair first surfaced as a PE alongside the release of a matching take on the Air Jordan 36. Now, we have confirmation that its “Oatmeal”-flavored sequel will be dropping as Nike has unveiled the colorway’s full set of imagery. Again looking to Hachimura’s Japanese heritage, the pair sports both sakura and cranes across its upper, creating a vivid scenery across the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Dark gray Swooshes and a matching heel tab bring heavy contrast to the composition while a golden Swoosh outline and gum outsole round out the pair.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed when Rui Hachimura’s new “Cranes” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates as it is currently expected to arrive during next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $160 USD.
