HAVEN Spotlights the Arc'Teryx Veilance FW24 Collection in New Editorial
Shot in Tokyo, the editorial spotlights the collection’s modularity and minimalism — while also exploring how its garments function in an urban setting.
HAVEN is taking no time off for the holidays. After a year-end collaborative surge that saw the Canadian purveyor of the world’s finest technical apparel work with Nanga, Tarvas and homeware line Apapacho — and, elsewhere, release its in-house FW24 line — the HAVEN team touched down in Tokyo to shoot an editorial for the FW24 range of fellow Vancouver natives at Arc’Teryx, namely the Arc’Teryx Veilance line.
A delicate balance between luxury and tech is at the heart of Arc’Teryx Veilance’s seasonal product slate, while HAVEN’s mission statement is to “enrich everyday life through functional design, craftsmanship, and innovation.” This shared mindset between the two parties is fully displayed across HAVEN’s editorial through a set of images both direct and abstract. The collection’s modular layers, from jackets to blazers, pants and overshirts are showcased on the bustling main streets, quiet back alleys and buzzing train stations of Tokyo to spotlight their modularity and adaptability. The images also provide inspiration for potential layering options, and show off a muted palette of black and tan shades, sans logos (as is the Arc’Teryx Veilance way).
