Popular mobile game, Brawl Stars, is calling on all Toy Story superfans for its new seasonal takeover.

From the makers of Clash of Clans and Boom Beach, Brawl Stars has previously welcomed several film and TV franchises to its gaming universe, most recently adding SpongeBob Squarepants to the growing roster. Taking its collaboration series to the next level, the latest Toy Story takeover will appear in the game’s “Starr Park” theme park world and will give players the chance to battle as Buzz Lightyear – the first-ever playable character from outside of the Brawl Stars universe.

In keeping with the action toy’s abilities, the playable version will feature three battle modes; laser, wing, and saber mode, all built into his purple and green bodysuit. To supplement the in-game character, three Brawl Stars’ characters will transform into Woody, Bo Peep, and Jessie through exclusive skins because, after all, it wouldn’t be a Toy Story takeover without them.

Inspired by the venue from the Toy Story movies, the theme park world will also see the arrival of the Pizza Planet Arcade in a seamless blend of nostalgia and gaming. Here, members can take on the challenge of collecting “Pizza Slices” and then swap them in for Toy Story-inspired cosmetics and accessories, or save them up for a new Brawler.

Speaking on the latest game takeover, Frank Keienburg of Brawl Stars shares, “Toy Story is the ideal collab for us, as the theme of teamwork and creating connections with others is at the core of Brawl Stars. Just like when Buzz Lightyear first arrives in Toy Story, there can be rivalry and competitive tension in our game, but that mostly leads to respect and friendship once the dust has settled.”

To experience the Toy Story takeover on Brawl Stars, download the mobile game on iOS or Android now.
